• All information you provide is accurate and current
• You have the legal right to upload, process, and redact all email content you submit to the Service

3. Service Description

RedactBox provides an email redaction platform that allows you to:

• Upload and process .mbox email files (maximum 500MB per file)
• Triage and organize email content
• Apply redactions to sensitive information through highlighting
• Export redacted content in PDF and other formats
• Manage redaction projects and track progress

Currently, we only support .mbox file formats. Other email formats are not supported at this time.

4. Account Types and Limitations

4.1 Free Account

• Limited to processing one (1) .mbox file
• Access to core redaction functionality
• Standard export options

4.2 Professional Account

• Unlimited .mbox file processing
• Access to all features and functionality
• Priority support

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or process email content you do not have legal authorization to access or modify
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users or our support team
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's functionality

6. Content and Data Rights

6.1 Your Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all email content and data you upload to the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your content.

6.2 Processing Rights

By uploading content to the Service, you grant RedactBox the limited right to process, analyze, and modify your content solely for the purpose of providing our redaction services.

6.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and must ensure it complies with all applicable laws and these Terms. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and redact the email content you submit.

7. Subscription and Billing

7.1 Subscription Plans

Professional subscriptions are billed monthly on the same day of the month you initially subscribed. You can view your billing information and manage your subscription through your account billing page.

7.2 Payment and Cancellation

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, which will prevent future billing. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused services.

7.3 Free Service

Our free service allows you to process one .mbox file at no cost. This is not a trial with time limitations, but a permanently available free tier with usage restrictions.

8. Service Termination

8.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew, but your data will remain accessible until you choose to delete it.

8.2 Termination by RedactBox

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the platform. Termination may occur immediately without notice in cases of serious violations.

8.3 Data After Termination

Your data remains in your control after account termination and will only be deleted when you explicitly choose to delete it through the platform.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is the proprietary property of RedactBox Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription period. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Service.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

10.1 Service Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Complete accuracy or completeness of redactions
• Uninterrupted service availability
• That the Service will meet your specific requirements
• That all sensitive information will be identified or redacted

10.2 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing all redacted content before distribution
• Ensuring redactions meet your legal or compliance requirements
• Validating the accuracy and completeness of your redacted documents
• Complying with all applicable laws regarding data processing and privacy

10.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedactBox Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RedactBox Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
